Retail Motor industry Organisation

With a membership of 7 209, the RMI provides a very effective collective voice that gives members considerable clout in negotiating better trading conditions.

As the lead voice in the motor industry, the RMI is a member-driven organisation that constantly seeks solutions to concerns raised by members in the day-to-day running of their businesses. Members’ needs are serviced through six regional offices, manned by 83 professional staff. In addition, the RMI is the major employer representative of the Motor Industry Bargaining Council, playing a significant role in labour negotiations as well as the industry’s social benefit schemes, dispute resolution processes and exemption procedures.

Sustainable Energy Society Southern African

The Sustainable Energy Society of Southern Africa or SESSA, is dedicated to the use of renewable energy and energy efficiency including all solar-based energies such as photovoltaics, thermal heating and cooling, wind, biomass and hydro, to name a few. Other utilization possibilities of this principle source of energy are in passive building design and energy efficiency.

The organisation operates as a partnership between the public and private sectors, receiving public funding to carry out a range of industry development activities and working to promote the interests of a membership base of about 170 private sector companies

The Southern African Bioenergy Association (SABA) is a non-profit organization of dedicated professionals, promoters, sponsors and motivated individuals who cooperate to support the development and implementation of a sustainable bioenergy industry in Southern Africa a comprehensive infrastructure to market and utilize biofuels in the most suitable way a framework of laws and regulations, favourable to the biofuel sector, and to establish a network of companies, organizations and individuals in order to provide a platform for discussions, interaction and co-operation for the benefit of the biofuel sector
